Position: Email Deliverability Specialist

Location: Mohali/Panchkula

Experience: Minimum 3 years

Notice period: Immediate to 15 days

We are looking for an Email Deliverability Specialist in Mohali-Panchkula who can optimize email campaign performance through technical expertise and strategic planning. This role requires deep knowledge of email technologies, ISP/domain-specific policies, and regulatory compliance to ensure maximum deliverability and engagement while collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.

Responsibilities:

Day-to-day execution of email deliverability, including onboarding configuration, troubleshooting campaign challenges, creating/segmenting lists

Strong understanding of ISP/domain-specific delivery policies, whitelisting and feedback loops with ISPs

Expert knowledge of best practices for sending bulk email and list management

Good understanding of email end-to-end delivery including IP addresses, DNS, SMTP, authentication and email headers

Aid in meeting client goals by improving email delivery, unsubscribe rate, and other e-mail metrics

Regularly contact vendors including in-depth weekly or monthly calls, or as needed

Collaborate with internal teams, helping the QA Team test email assets across different email clients and ESPs

Keep current on the latest trends in email technology

Provide guidance on scaling email capability with additional hardware or software

Maintain performance and health of the email channel with regard to deliverability and segmentation

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience in email services/delivery role

Comprehensive understanding of CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR and other international email regulations

Comfortable with source version control software (Git)

Proficiency in email production, delivery platforms, troubleshooting

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Knowledge of CAN-SPAM/anti-spam laws

Strong attention to detail and a creative thinker with an eye for design

Proven team player mindset - openly shares knowledge, train & mentor junior colleagues

Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment, manage multiple projects, set priorities, meet deadlines

Proven record of integrity and following through on commitments

Quick study of new material and products

High level of enthusiasm and strong problem-solving skills

Expertise with third-party testing and analysis tools like Spamhaus, Email on Acid, Litmus, Return Path, 250OK, and SNDS

Mandatory experience with cloud infrastructure providers (e.g. Mailgun, Twilio SendGrid, Sparkpost)

Mandatory experience in MySQL - joins, query conditions

Has knowledge of global and regional data collection and handling requirements from both a legislative (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc.) and receiver (Gmail, Microsoft, etc.) perspective

Strong knowledge of Blocklist Mitigation
