Job Summary- This involves mechanical design of electronic systems with optimization of packaging density, material compatibility, thermal performance, structural performance, reliability and cost.
Analyse system requirements, develop conceptual designs and create detailed plans using CAD software.- Create efficient and functional electromechanical systems that meet performance, reliability and safety requirements.
- Responsibilities and Duties
To perform mechanical design and development associated with packaging electronic circuits including assembly design, analysis, test and manufacturing support.- 3D CAD (Solidworks) design & drafting of mechanical/electro-mechanical components and assemblies with a focus on design for reliability, manufacturing and ruggedization.
Performing verification & validation of design and prototypes in analysis and laboratories to ensure the functionality of the product
- Providing technical support to prospects/clients by addressing their technical queries and modelling assistance in a wide variety of application areas.
Communicate with a team of multi-disciplined engineers (Systems, Electrical, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Configuration Management) for design and release approval.- Participate in customer acceptance testing and provide technical solutions to customer issues of results & shares reports to internal team.
- Qualifications and Skills
B.E./B.Tech Mechanical/Electromechanical or related engineering with minimum of 3 years of industry experience.- Applicant must have a strong background in CAD design, mechanical and electronic packaging design fundamentals.
Knowledge and hands-on experience on any leading thermal analysis package is preferred.
- Candidates should also possess interest in exploring new concepts and technologies.
Knowledge and understanding of British, European and ideally International standards.
