Key Responsibilities:
Develop and design advanced electrical systems for high-performance vehicles.
Collaborate on cross-disciplinary projects related to power electronics, thermal management, and algorithm development.
Conduct simulations and analysis using tools such as MotorCAD, FLUX Motor, and MATLAB/Simulink.
Ensure designs comply with HEV/EV regulations and standards (AIS 038, AIS 102, AIS 048, & AIS 084).
Perform R&D in battery assembly and packing.
Conduct electrical and electronics fault diagnosis using OBD interfaces like DiagBox, GARUDA, or similar tools.
Design and analyze PCBs and circuits.
Utilize debugging and measuring instruments (DSO, DMM, LCR meter, & Protocol analyzer) for testing and validation.
Integrate wire harness knowledge into electrical system designs.
Manage and simulate thermal management systems.
Perform 3D routing of electrical harnesses using CREO Parametric and manage data in Windchill and SAP.
Ensure adherence to safety standards (ISO26262), IEC/EN, and IE standards.
Design and develop DC & AC motors, including BLDC, PMSM, SRM, and SynRM.
Maintain and set up electric motor dynamometers.
Apply motor thermal and IP standard knowledge.
Implement motor orientation control strategies.
Key Requirements:
Strong fundamentals in physics and mathematics.
Knowledge in grid management and power electronics.
Proficiency in motor development software like MotorCAD, FLUX Motor, or similar.
Sound understanding of electromagnetic concepts and flux.
Strong knowledge of the wire harness industry.
Experience with thermal management simulation in MATLAB/Simulink or other tools.
Familiarity with HEV/EV regulations and standards (AIS 038, AIS 102, AIS 048, & AIS 084).
R&D knowledge in battery assembly and packing.
Expertise in electrical and electronics fault diagnosis with OBD interfaces.
Knowledge of CAN communication protocols or other communication protocols.
PCB design and circuit analysis experience.
Proficiency with debugging and measuring instruments (DSO, DMM, LCR meter, & Protocol analyzer).
Experience in 3D routing of electrical harnesses using CREO Parametric and managing data in Windchill and SAP.
Understanding of safety standards (ISO26262), IEC/EN, and IE standards.
Strong knowledge and design experience with DC & AC motors and special electrical machines (BLDC, PMSM, SRM, & SynRM).
Experience with the setup and maintenance of electric motor dynamometers.
Knowledge of motor thermal and IP standards.
Software knowledge of thermal analysis.
Knowledge of motor orientation control.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Experience in the motor vehicle or related industry is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
