Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Electronics
• Electrical Design and Electrical Engineering skills
• Experience in project management and coordination

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Electrical Project Engineer at Firefly Lighting in Mumbai. The Electrical Project Engineer will be responsible for electrical design, engineering, power systems, and power distribution for lighting projects. The role includes collaborating with architects, designers, specifiers and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and handover.

Responsibilities will include:

• Collaborate with architects and interior designers when required to understand lighting requirements
• Study interior layouts
• Create BOQ's and Load Schedules
• Make Lighting presentations
• Make Quotations
• Specifying Lighting products + drivers
• Site visits, to cross specify lighting products post inspection and meeting with automation and other related teams
• Coordinate with other departments as and when required
• Project management end-to-end
• Basic follow ups with clients when necessary
• Coordination with site managers and engineers for smooth delivery and installation on site as a part of Project Management
• Site visits when necessary

Skills Required

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Strong knowledge of electrical systems & automation

Attention to detail and ability to multitask

Ability to work well in a team

Knowledge of architectural lighting fixtures and solutions is a big advantage

Experience in the architecture or interior design industry is beneficial

Experience in working with different types of lighting fixtures

Creative thinking and strong problem-solving skills

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Proficiency is the use of MS Office
