We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our production team as a Production Trainee. The ideal candidate will have a Electrical Diploma or ITI qualification with 1-2 years of relevant industry experience. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand Electrical systems, wire harness drawings, and coordinate with vendors for manufacturing to ensure accurate and timely production.
- Conduct inward quality checks to ensure materials and components meet required standards.
- Maintain inventory, ensuring accurate records and efficient management of stock levels.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to optimize stock availability and minimize wastage.
- Implement inventory control measures to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Coordinate with vendors for timely delivery and resolution of any supply issues.
- Arrange and maintain stores systematically, adhering to 6S principles (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety).
- Issue materials for assembly, ensuring proper documentation and inventory updates.
- Participate in product assembly, assisting in the construction and testing of electrical systems and components.
- Conduct production quality checks to ensure finished products meet required standards.
- Handle rejections and returns of defective materials, ensuring proper documentation and resolution.
- Implement cost-saving measures where applicable to enhance production efficiency.
Requirements
Expected Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Relevant Skills: Wire harness drawing interpretation, Understanding PCB connections, inventory management, quality control, production assembly, vendor coordination, problem-solving
- Relevant Knowledge: Electrical principles, Machines, Electric Vehicle basics, materials management, manufacturing processes, 6S methodology
- Good English communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Expected Qualification
- Electrical Diploma or ITI qualification
- 1-2 years of overall experience in electrical system production and inventory management
- Experience with inventory management software
