* Shall be a Graduate/Diploma Electrical Engineer.

* Shall have a minimum of 6 years of Quality Control and Inspection experience in EPCC projects.

* Shall have experience in Hazardous Area & Classified Zones installation & testing/Inspections.

* Shall be familiar with relevant material, Testing & construction/work relevant to ATEX/IEC/BS/ISO codes.

* Certification on COMPEX, ATEX or equivalent on EX equipment installations, inspection & maintenance shall have added advantage

* Shall be familiar with electrical construction materials & construction methods, testing of electrical equipment and installations, HV/LV system installation/ testing/ commissioning, installation testing of OHL lines, international codes and standards for electrical design, construction and testing of facilities and works.

* Knowledge and experience with High voltage equipment switching and maintenance.

* Experience in testing and commissioning electrical systems

* A proven work experience as a Electrical Inspector in Oil & Gas with other Contractors in PDO will be an added advantage.

Duties & Responsibilities:

* Implement QA/QC activities including those of sub-contractors works in accordance with approved QCP /ITPs and Procedures, method statements and other Project/contract documents.

* Prepares and signoff applicable records for quality surveillance/inspections/tests.

* Carry out the verification of the Ex Components for vendor packages as per Ex register & update Register.

* Maintain records of calibration, inspection and testing equipment.

* Maintaining Quality records & assists in the preparation of Hand over packages/ dossiers.

* Ensure the availability of an appropriate version of applicable work documents such as Drawings, Specifications and Standards.

* Report Quality activities, and monitor performance indicators related to the respective discipline

* Liaison with Client representatives/ Vendor representatives on matters related to Quality.

* Assists in Auditing - internal and external, and follow up on Corrective Actions (internal & external).

* Provide sufficient feedback to the Lead Quality Engineer on the day-to-day quality issues.
