You oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and control systems. You ensure that electrical systems are designed, installed, and maintained to meet safety codes, regulations, and industry standards.
You develop and implement maintenance programs for electrical equipment and systems to prevent breakdowns, minimize downtime, and extend equipment lifespan. This includes scheduling preventive maintenance tasks, conducting inspections, and coordinating repairs as needed.
You diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems and malfunctions, such as equipment failures, power outages, and electrical faults. You identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and oversee repairs to restore normal operations promptly.
You ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations, standards, and procedures to protect employees, facilities, and equipment from electrical hazards. This includes conducting safety audits, enforcing safety protocols, and providing training on electrical safety practices.
