Role Description: Electrical Engineer - Shift Incharge
This is a full-time, on-site role at LithLife in Ahmedabad. As an Electrical Engineer - Shift Incharge, you will oversee the daily electrical operations of our recycling plant during assigned shifts. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment involved in lithium-ion battery recycling. You will also manage a team of operators and technicians, coordinating with other departments to meet production targets and maintain safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the operation of electrical systems and equipment used in the recycling process, including power supply, control panels, and automation systems.
- Monitor and ensure the smooth functioning of electrical components such as motors, drives, and PLCs.
- Plan and implement preventive maintenance for electrical systems to avoid downtime.
- Quickly troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues to maintain uninterrupted production.
- Work closely with the production and maintenance teams to optimize plant performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain high standards of electrical safety in the plant.
- Maintain detailed logs of shift activities, electrical performance, and any incidents.
- Provide training and guidance to operators and junior staff on electrical safety and equipment operation.
- Collaborate with the R&D team to support the implementation of electrical upgrades or new equipment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in an electrical engineering role, ideally in a manufacturing or recycling environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, automation, PLCs, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to lead and manage a team, with excellent communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with plant operations and shift management.
- Knowledge of electrical safety regulations and standards in industrial settings.
