Electrical Design Engineer

Position : Electrical Design Engineer

Experience 5+ years

Location: Mumbai

Qualifications required - B.E/ B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics.

Candidates with diverse experience in MEP will be preferred.

Qualifications required - B.E/ B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics Exp Req. -12years to 15years

ELECTRICAL:

Calculation of total electrical connected load and maximum demand.

Design of substation layouts/ pole-mounted transformers considering incoming HT supply. Sizing of Transformer, DG Set, HT Breaker/ Isolators, HT Cables etc. (If HT Supply is required)

Design of Captive power generation equipment like D.G. set, Changeover control centres, etc.

Design of power factor improvement systems.

Preparation of overall Electrical single-line drawings identifying all load centres.

Preparation of Cable schedule and sizing of LT Power and Control cables, Layout of LT and control cables.

Preparation of Layout of all MV panels and distribution boards/ feeder pillars for feeding electrical supply.

Preparation of General lighting and power layouts for all built-up areas considering illumination levels as per IS Code and power provisions as per Clients requirements.

Cabling for External/ Landscape lighting layout provided by the landscape consultants.

Selection of lighting fixtures along with architect and interior designers for each identified usage.

Preparation of earthing and lightning protection layout.

Preparation of Extra low voltage systems like Telephone systems, Computer networks, Music & Public Address Systems and CCTV Systems.

Preparation of the Tender Document and Drawings with Technical Specifications, Bill of Quantities, List of Approved Makes/Materials etc.

Assistance in the identification of specialist contractors and finalizing the rates of works to be awarded. (If required)

Periodic site visits to check the quality of works and to give any clarifications related to design issues.
