Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Team Leader - Electrical with expertise in Eplan software to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, updating, and maintaining electrical drawings to ensure they align with current production standards. You will lead a team of electrical engineers and ensure that all as-built drawings are accurate, comprehensive, and compliant with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
As-Built Drawings Management:
Maintain and regularly update electrical as-built drawings to reflect changes made during production and maintenance.
Ensure that all drawings are accurate and readily accessible for production and project teams.
Team Leadership:
Lead and manage a team of electrical designers and engineers.
Assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure the team meets project deadlines and quality standards.
Electrical Design and Documentation:
Utilize Eplan software to create, modify, and manage electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
Standardize electrical documentation and templates for consistent output.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
Ensure all electrical drawings and designs comply with applicable standards (e.g., IEC, ANSI) and organizational requirements.
Conduct regular reviews and audits of drawings to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Work closely with production, maintenance, and quality assurance teams to align design updates with operational requirements.
Act as a key contact for stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal departments, regarding electrical design matters.
Process Improvement:
Develop and implement efficient workflows for drawing management and version control.
Introduce best practices to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of the documentation process.
Training and Development:
Provide training and guidance to team members on Eplan software and best practices in electrical design.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth within the team.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design and documentation, preferably in heavy engineering, semiconductor, or industrial manufacturing.
Proven expertise in Eplan software is essential.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of electrical systems and industry standards (e.g., IEC, ANSI).
Proficiency in Eplan for schematic design, panel layout, and documentation.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
