Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects. The work model for the role is: - Onsite This role is contributing to the Motion Traction Division in Nelamangala, India. You will be mainly accountable for:
- Hardware Design and development of converters for railways applications, like Traction Converter, Auxiliary convertor, and Battery chargers.
- Conceptualize new designs and translate concept into formal electronic design drawings.
- Review drawing/specifications and communicate requirements to vendors/ Cus-tomers.
- Understand and update all product Schematics and Other design documentation.
- Provide input and recommend changes to new and existing product designs.
- Knowledgeable and proficient in all Design Calculation and Simulations.
- Performing FFA analysis on Power and control designs and support to PLCM.
Qualifications For The Role
- Requires a Bachelor's / Master's degree in electrical/Electronics/Power Electronics engineering.
- Prefer 3-5 years of related work experience
- Must have good experience in power electronics, traction convertor, Auxiliary convertor, railways applications.
- Power Engineering preferably applied to Railway products with 2-3 years of experience.
- Proficiency design software including MATLAB and E3 schematic etc
- Able to perform and analyze results from simulations and Hand calculations.
