- Name of the Position:Electrical Design Engineer (Design & Installation)
BE Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Instrumentation
Should have 5 to 6 years in Project Industry
Proficiency in CAD software for electrical design, such as AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN
Should have experience in the process flow & execution of the project.
Should have experience with PLC programming and HMI design
Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards for industrial equipment
Knowledge of the Electrical component selection/ sensor selection is must.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic knowledge of PLC/HMI/VFD/Servo drives programming.
Should have experience from Electrical Control panel /Special Purpose Machine manufacturing will be of added advantage.
Hands on experience with component & system level troubleshooting and handling various equipment's.
Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Excellent aptitude for multi-tasking and willing to learn.
Development of the circuit diagram as per the project requirement
Electrical/ instrumentation component selection as per the project requirement
Keeping the track of the component and product execution.
Maintaining product data base by documenting design & process data of projects being handled.
Providing training & guidance to technicians during & after project completion.
Problem identification and troubleshooting a variety of electrical/mechanical problems with limited supervision.
PLC/HMI Programming & modification and maintaining data, testing and installation .On Site/ Off Site.
Collaborating with mechanical engineers to integrate electrical components into the overall machine design.
Implementing new ideas / concepts for the betterment of the product.
Providing technical support to manufacturing and installation teams during machine assembly and commissioning
Designing electrical systems for SPMs, including control panels, wiring diagrams, and power distribution systems
Staying current with industry trends and best practices in electrical design for manufacturing equipment
Programming PLCs and HMIs to control machine functions and monitor performance
Explains engineering information to others in straight forward situations
