EHS OFFICER- B.Sc+ Diploma in industrial safety
- Candidate must have a laptop
Ensure implementation of H&S Standard and directive by the contactors engaged for execution.
- Ensure that relevant H&S exhibit requirements are not ignored/ neglected during site activities.
Prepare construction Health & Safety improvement plan Identification of the hazards and risks relevant to the construction project through regular coordinated site inspections
- Compiling project specific emergency response and preparedness plans
Testing the effectiveness of the emergency response plans
- Conduct site safety inductions
H&S awareness programmes- Ensure reporting of Hazards & incidents
Conducts toolbox meetings
- Verifies that all tools and equipment are adequate and safe for use
Promotes safe practices at the job site- Enforces safety guidelines
Trains and carries out drills and exercises on how to manage emergency situations
- Review and validate Method Statement submitted by Contractors
* Identify and implement reward, recognition and consequence management system
