EHS Manager
Qualification: BE in EHS
Experience: 3-10 Years
Location: 7th Floor, N1 Block, Manyata Embassy Business Park, Nagawara, Bangalore - 560045
Desired Skills:
- Required knowledge in ISO:9001, 14001, 45001.
- Knowledge in EHS, HIRA.
- Water & STP Management, Waste Management.
- Exposure to BSC audits & documentation, ESG, Net Zero, IWBI, GRESB, LEED requirements.
- BSC (British Safety Council Audit exposure).
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the implementation of the EHS Management System and norms as per the client requirement.
- Maintaining documents as per the requirements of Client.
- Coordinating with client and meeting the safety requirements.
- Conducting periodical Site EHS Inspections & report the finding for corrective action.
- Organize campaigns, competitions & other special emphasis programs to promote workplace.
- Maintaining STPS
- Preparing Risk Assessment and Safe work methods for all the activities.
- Identifying the legal requirement of the state government and maintenance of legal register and assisting management for coordinating with statutory bodies.
- To ensure zero accidents, zero incidents and 100% upkeep and uptime of all equipment's. All workers are instructed in the safe performance of their duties.
- To ensure all technicians, plumbers and operators are well groomed and all safety gadgets are used while performing certain activity in the work premises.
- Co-ordination with Hazardous waste, E-waste vendors for disposal as per the statutory documentation and process.
- To ensure all hazards are identified, reported and mitigated with necessary control measures.
- Have walk through and observe the abnormalities/unsafe conditions/unsafe acts and escalate the observed issues by raising the helpdesk tickets.
- Any unsafe conditions are corrected without delay.
- All workers are instructed in the safe performance of their duties.
- There is a safe means of entry to and exit from the work area
- To ensure activities are performed with all safety measures and with quality work.
- Ensure compliance to all security, safety, as well as operational procedures.
- To perform duties with high level of Integrity, Commitment and responsibility.
- To abide by company rules and policies.
