Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager
You will be responsible in ensuring that the workplace adheres to environmental regulations, health standards, and safety protocols for a globally recognized leader in customized bromine-based products and services with a vast distribution network across 70 countries. They are a Leader in Specialized Bromine-Based Chemicals, ISO 9001:2015 certified, with robust backward and forward integration facilities.
What You Will Do
- Perform regular plant health & safety audits - facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and highlight potential hazards.
- Provide safety training/mock drills to all managers & associates & to all type of manpower working at plant or safety practice drills
- Keeping track of site Incidents, Investigating the root cause and setting necessary procedure /practices to avoid incidents in future.
- Having experience of safety testing and competent authority as per Factory & Boilers Dept.
- Train/build an emergency response team & consistently check & evaluate the preparedness of our team towards hazards & incidents.
- Maintain safety gadgets inventory including distribution. Implement safety directives; improve safety performance in chemical industry.
- Identify best practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks, raise safety awareness, and improve safe work practices.
- Conduct or coordinate worker training in areas such as safety laws and regulations, hazardous condition monitoring, and use of safety equipment.
- Develop and Implement HIRA at Plants.
- Maintain proper health records for entire team as per Law & Ensure adherence to all relevant legal rules and regulations
- Get the periodic testing, as required. Educate and oversee employees on health procedures and regulations
- Monitor personnel and workspace Encourage and promote the use of safer work equipment, materials and supplies
- Track the number of incidents and produce reports Monitor exposure to certain hazardous chemicals

- Experience on HAZOP & management of change, Process safety, Can implement & Develop PPE policy at plants
- Having experience for all types of Risks management like:- Job, process, site, work permit, and work place
- Should know about Explosives Act & PESO along with its compliance, do liaison Having knowledge & experience of statutory compliances as per factories Act.
- Have experience of Environment clearances needed from The Ministry of Environment and Forests (MoEF). Active involvement in preparation of EIA & presentation before EAC.
- Submission of compliance reports to MOEF periodically.
- Have experience of consent to establish/operate from State Pollution Control Board.
- Have exposure of all categories of Environment compliances like :- Air, Noise, Water & soil.
- Have exposure to maintain Environment compliance Standards and maintain government statutory records.
- Red category industries Hazardous compliance knowledge required
- Have experience of Hazardous waste material compliances. (dispose to competent authority)
- Have exposure of ISO 14000/18000 compliance and certifications audit.
- Experience in setting up & running of ETP Experience of filing returns & reports to PCB authorities as per statutory compliances. Safety.
