Description
We are looking for an Education Counselor with 1-2 years of experience in the job market context of India to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the Indian education system and the ability to guide students towards their academic and career goals.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and counseling to students in their academic and career pursuits
- Assist students in identifying and understanding their strengths and weaknesses
- Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with students and their parents
- Develop and maintain relationships with schools, colleges, and universities
- Stay up-to-date with changes in the education system and career trends
- Provide support to students in the college application process
- Assist students in preparing for entrance exams for various courses
- Organize and conduct workshops and seminars for students and parents
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or related field
- 1-2 years of experience as an Education Counselor
- Strong knowledge of the Indian education system and career opportunities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in MS Office and counseling software
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience in organizing and conducting workshops and seminars
