Position: EDP Officer (SAP)
Salary: Negotiable
Our client, a leading steel conglomerate with a state-of-the-art integrated steel plant in Siltara, Raipur, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Engineer / Officer to join their EDP / IT department. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SAP systems and processes, as well as excellent technical and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement SAP solutions to meet business requirements
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve system issues
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for SAP systems and processes
- Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements
- Train and support end-users on SAP processes and functionality
- Stay updated on new SAP releases and updates, and make recommendations for implementation
- Participate in system upgrades and migrations
- Ensure data integrity and security within the SAP system
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize SAP usage and efficiency
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in SAP implementation and support
- Strong understanding of SAP modules, including FI/CO, SD, MM, and PP
- Experience with SAP ABAP programming and development
- Knowledge of SAP HANA and S/4HANA is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
