Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and experienced EDM Operator to join our team at our client place at Gurgaon. As an EDM Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining electrical discharge machines to produce precision parts and components. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 3 years of experience as a Junior EDM Operator and must have a strong understanding of EDM operations.
Qualifications and Skills :-
- 1 to 3 years of experience as an EDM Operator, preferably in a junior role
- Strong understanding of EDM operations, including knowledge of different types of electrical discharge machines
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Proficiency in setting up and operating EDM machines
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
Roles and Responsibilities :-
- Operate and maintain electrical discharge machines to produce precision parts and components
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand the required dimensions and tolerances
- Set up EDM machines by installing electrodes, selecting appropriate tooling, and adjusting machine settings
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure the machines are running at optimal levels
- Monitor the production process, make necessary adjustments, and inspect finished products for quality
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet production targets
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
