Are you passionate about scientific publishing and eager to support cutting-edge research Join the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) as an Editorial Assistant in India! This is a temporary possition expected to be for 12 months.
The RSC publishes over 55 world-leading journals, 1,500+ print books, and various online databases. Our international portfolio covers core chemical sciences and related fields, known for rigorous peer review and fast publication times. As a not-for-profit publisher, we reinvest surplus funds into the global scientific community.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative support for external community engagement
Assist in promoting our journal and book portfolio
Maintain and develop journals online presence in India
Support editorial and marketing initiatives
Maintain Editorial and Advisory Board lists
Requirements
A masters Degree in science is preferable (chemical science preferred)
Administration experience, ideally in STM publishing
Strong IT skills with relevant software packages
Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

At the RSC, we embrace flexibility and offer hybrid working. While this role is based at our India office, you'll have the option to work from home within India, with occasional travel as needed.
