We are seeking a highly skilled Dynamics 365 Project Management and Accounting Consultant immediately to join our team. This role involves configuring, implementing, and supporting the Project Management and Accounting module within Microsoft Dynamics 365. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in managing and executing end-to-end project lifecycle activities, including budgeting, costing, and reporting, while ensuring seamless integration with finance, supply chain, and other core business functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the configuration and deployment of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Project Management and Accounting (PMA) module for clients.
- Design and configure workflows, forms, and processes within the PMA module.
- Customize the system to fit specific business requirements, ensuring alignment with project management and accounting needs.
- Manage all aspects of project planning, costing, and billing processes, including creating and tracking project budgets, contracts, and forecasts.
- Set up project stages, work breakdown structures (WBS), and milestones.
- Oversee time and expense entries and integrate them with the financial modules for billing and payment processing.
- Ensure proper integration between the Project Management and Accounting module with the Finance and Supply Chain Management modules of D365.
- Oversee billing cycles, invoicing, and project revenue recognition according to business policies.
- Monitor project profitability and assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting.
Skills and Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge and experience with the Project Management and Accounting module of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
- Experience with integration between D365 PMA and Finance, Supply Chain, and other core modules.
- Strong proficiency in project tracking, cost management, and billing features of D365.
- Familiarity with D365 reporting tools, including Power BI, SSRS, or similar.
- Minimum of 3-5 years working with the D365 PMA module
- Experience in project accounting, financial management, and reporting.
- Understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and how they apply to D365.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or related field.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Project Operations Functional Consultant or similar preferred.
- Project management certification (PMP, Prince2) is a plus.
