Dynamics 365 Operational Technical Architect

Position Summary:

As an Operational Technical Architect, you will troubleshoot, deploy, lead and design software solutions to meet the needs of our clients as they implement Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations.These design solutions may utilize multiple technologies/languages but will be centered around X++ and the Azure stack. In addition, this position will provide subject matter expertise for new D365 features and strategies that will continue to elevate our Microsoft team. This includes being responsible for leading project development sub-teams as needed on projects and helping developers to be able to expand the team for the future. Also, participate with enVista Sales representatives from time to time in help respond to RFP's, prepare estimates, SOW's, and present proposals to potential clients

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with associates and clients to gather requirements and identify gaps.

Offer technical assistance to the Application Managed Services team and clients

Design, estimate, architect, develop, and document D365 solutions to identify gaps and requirements.

Act as a mentor for cross-skilled Microsoft teams and design, build and drive adoption of D365, the Power Platform, and other approaches to achieve clients objectives, providing guidance, delegation, and oversight where needed.

Lead sub-development project teams during implementations while managing the software development lifecycle and performance against budget.

Assist Clients with Feature Upgrades and Pipeline updates

Work closely with other Technical Architects on developing a playbook of architect approaches for client projects.

Drive innovated approaches to D365 including productization of solutions.

Stay current with the ever-changing Microsoft Technology updates and stay current in related D365 certifications.

Note - Should work in US shift hours

Education, Skills and Experience Needed:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a related field

7-10 years of progressive hands-on experience in X++ development

Must have experience in Dynamics AX 2012 and Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations

Must understand code pipeline deployments in Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations

2+ years of experience in the Azure stack

3+ years of development management as a technical lead or similar role

Strong knowledge of D365 Environment Management and planning

Azure DevOps experience is required

Microsoft Certified in related technologies is a bonus

RSAT and Automation experience is a bonus

Experience in the Power Platform is a bonus
