Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Technical Consultant with expertise in Dynamics NAV and Dynamics 365 Business Central to manage customer upgrades and implementations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of collaborating with clients in North America to deliver successful ERP solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Upgrade Projects:
Analyze existing Dynamics NAV setups and plan seamless upgrades to Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Customize and configure Business Central to meet client-specific requirements.
Ensure data migration accuracy and troubleshoot issues during the upgrade process.
Implementation Projects:
Lead the technical implementation of Dynamics Business Central for new clients.
Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and design effective solutions.
Develop and deploy custom extensions using AL, Visual Studio Code, and Power Platform tools.
Conduct testing and validation to ensure successful implementation.
Client Liaison:
Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients in North America.
Provide post-implementation support and resolve technical queries promptly.
Offer training and technical guidance to client teams.
Collaboration:
Work closely with functional consultants, project managers, and development teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Document processes, technical specifications, and user guides for clients and internal teams.
Education, Training, Skills and Experience Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central or Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
Proficient in AL programming, C/AL, and SQL Server.
Strong understanding of the Business Central architecture, integrations, and extensions.
Experience with tools like Power BI and Power Automate is a plus.
Strong understanding of business processes and ERP systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience in project management methodologies.
Certification in Dynamics 365 Business Central is preferred.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Experience in Navision to Business Central upgrades is a significant advantage.
Familiarity with North American business practices and regulations is beneficial.
Willingness to travel to client sites in North America as required.
