Job Description This opening is for the Deputy Project Manager position at VizExperts Gurgaon, who will be expected to handle VizExperts Audio-Video Projects with complete responsibility, and full ownership of all project related aspects. The main responsibilities would include:
- Communicating and co-ordination with VizExperts finance, logistics, technical teams, external vendors and client and ensure:
- Developing and maintaining a detailed project plan.
- Managing project deliverables in line with the project plan.
- Recording and managing project issues and escalating where necessary.
- Resolving cross-functional issues at project level.
- Interacting with client about quality delivered and acceptance of same.
- Managing project scope and change control and escalating issues where necessary.
- Monitoring project progress and performance.
- Providing status reports to the project sponsor.
- Managing project execution within the defined budget.
- Liaises with, and updates progress to, project board/senior management.
- Managing project evaluation and dissemination activities.
- Managing consultancy input within the defined budget.
- Final approval of the design specification.
- Working closely with users to ensure the project meets business needs.
- Definition and management of the User Acceptance Testing program.
- Identifying user training needs and devising and managing user training programs.
- Besides the above the project manager would also be responsible for Business Development Activities including:
- Identifying new opportunities and provide project proposal against various tenders and client queries
- Creating Vendor Databases and creating new relationships
- Post Project Execution Client Communication
- Price Negotiations with client and vendors
Qualifications The following are the minimum qualifications an individual needs in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position.
Qualification Criteria Requirement
Education B. Tech / M. Tech or MBA Degree or Diploma in Project Management from a reputed institute.
Preference will be given to:
Professional Audio Visual Certification if any
Experience of AV integration industry
PMI / PMP Certificate
Experience 1 -3 Years Industry Experience in Professional AV Solutions
Project management in the above domain is preferable.
Communication Proficient verbal and written English.
Computer Literacy
- Knowledge of MS Office including Word, PowerPoint, Project
- Comprehensive knowledge of creating detailed Excel
- Proficient with Project Management tools like Microsoft Project etc.
- Hands on knowledge of Project Management tools like Rally
- Hands on for creation of Gantt charts, critical path analysis etc.
Concepts
- Understanding of Government Processes
- Understanding of commercial terms and conditions including taxation etc.
- Understanding of logistics concepts like road-permits, import clearance etc.
- Strong Concepts of AV Technologies.
