Role Overview:

The Deputy Chief Revenue Officer - SVP Business Development will play a critical role in scaling Prozo's operations and revenue to 10x the current scale. This senior executive will lead the business development strategy, accelerate sales at each touchpoint in the sales funnel, and foster strong client relationships to drive sustainable growth. They will manage and inspire a high-performing team of 15-20 professionals, including VPs, AVPs, and Senior Directors, ensuring strategic alignment and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Growth & Planning:

  • Develop a comprehensive strategy to achieve aggressive growth milestones and expand Prozo's market reach.
  • Formulate client acquisition strategies and implement initiatives for business growth across sectors.

Sales Acceleration & Funnel Optimization:

  • Strategize sales acceleration at all touchpoints within the sales funnel to increase conversion rates and speed up deal closures.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and pursue high-impact sales opportunities, leveraging Prozo's supply chain solutions.

Consultative Selling & Client Relationship Management:

  • Act as a trusted advisor for clients, tailoring solutions that align with their needs, and driving customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Foster long-term partnerships through consultative selling and aligning solutions to meet client goals.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead and mentor a team of 15-20, including VPs, AVPs, Sr. Directors, and senior business development professionals.
  • Encourage a high-performance culture, set clear objectives, and promote collaborative teamwork.

Commercial Scoping & Solution Design:

  • Work closely with the Solution Design team to drive proposal development, contract negotiations, and deal closures.
  • Ensure commercial proposals align with client requirements and Prozo's capabilities, aiming for win-win solutions.

Performance Management & Reporting:

  • Oversee performance metrics, sales pipeline updates, and client interactions to ensure alignment with Prozo's growth goals.
  • Provide regular insights and reports to the executive leadership team, focusing on KPIs and strategic growth projections.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 10+ years in senior sales or business development roles, ideally within 3PL warehousing, supply chain consulting, or B2B enterprise sales.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in driving significant business growth and building high-impact client relationships.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead, develop, and inspire a sizable sales team, with proven expertise in managing senior leaders and high-stakes clients.
  • Strategic Acumen: Ability to strategize and execute in a fast-paced, agile environment with a focus on sustainable growth and client satisfaction.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to engage and influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Commercial Insight: Strong financial acumen with experience in structuring large deals, understanding RFPs, and negotiating contracts.
  • Mindset: Entrepreneurial approach with a hunter mentality, a focus on results, and a customer-first philosophy.
