Job Description for AEM Developer:
Experience: 5-7 years (with 4-5 years of relevant experience in AEM 6.3 or above)
Responsibilities
- Design and develop AEM components, content fragments, templates, dialogs, and workflows using the Adobe CQ/AEM architecture (Sling, CRX, OSGi, JCR).
- Demonstrate deep expertise in core frameworks such as OSGi, OAK, Granite, and Coral UI.
- Utilize web technologies like HTML5, JavaScript, JSP, and AEM templates to build scalable solutions.
- Lead and execute AEM translation projects, ensuring seamless localization and content delivery.
- Develop Java-based web applications with a strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Implement and manage Content Management Systems (CMS), focusing on configurations, customizations, and performance.
- Efficiently analyze and troubleshoot production issues, providing timely solutions with minimal user impact.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UX, UI) to ensure AEM components are integrated as part of the overall solution.
- Maintain strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Self-manage workload effectively, demonstrating multitasking, prioritization, and meeting deadlines consistently.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) 6.x or higher.
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AJAX, and related technologies.
- Expertise in developing and customizing AEM templates, components, CRXDE, and Sling API.
- Experience with AEM workflows, working within the JCR repository, and utilizing OSGi services.
- Hands-on experience with AEM dispatcher configurations and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, SOAP services, and various integration techniques.
- Experience with Adobe Cloud Manager.
- Adobe Experience Manager certification or similar credentials.
- Strong understanding of content management system principles and SEO best practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate in a team environment and work independently.
