The driver is responsible for safely operating a vehicle to transport goods or passengers from one location to another. They must adhere to traffic laws and maintain a clean and organized vehicle. Additionally, drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading cargo, perform basic vehicle maintenance, and interact professionally with customers or passengers.
Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods or passengers to their destinations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, including speed limits and road signs.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and functionality.- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle, both inside and out.
Assist with loading and unloading cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
- Follow delivery schedules and routes efficiently, while also adapting to changes or delays.
Provide excellent customer service, including polite and professional interactions with clients or passengers.- Report any accidents, injuries, or vehicle damage to management immediately.
Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as checking fluid levels and tire pressure.
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery or passenger logs.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members.
Valid driver's license appropriate for the type of vehicle being operated (e.g., commercial driver's license for large trucks or passenger vehicle endorsement for buses).- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations or accidents.
Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices.
- Ability to navigate efficiently using maps or GPS devices.
Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.- Physical stamina to handle long hours of driving and lifting heavy items if necessary.

- Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.- Previous experience as a driver preferred, but not always required depending on the specific role.
Completion of any relevant driving courses or certifications may be beneficial.
