Over the past 30 years, Akanksha has grown from serving 15 children in one center to over 13,000 children across multiple locations.
Role Description
This is a full-time Senior Manager - Donor Relations role at The Akanksha Foundation. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for strengthenig the current channels of funding and support with developing new channels. You will also be involved in donor management, project management, leading events, communication campaigns and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders internal & external. This is a hybrid role, involving some degree of travel.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in client facing roles, with prior experience in fund raising
- Sectoral exposure to Corporates/ Foundation and experience in working with HNI's
- Strong skills in donor relations and donor management
- Ability to manage and execute projects
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Knowledge of fundraising strategies and best practices
- Experience working in the non-profit sector
- Ability manage a team
- Post graduate in Marketing/Advertising/ Related Fields (e.g., Nonprofit Management, Business Administration)
