Job Title: Dog Groomer

Seeking a certified Dog Groomer to join our team. The responsible individual will have to provide top-notch grooming services for dogs of different sizes, breeds, age and temperament ensuring the dogs remain healthy and feel comfortable during their grooming experience.
- Note : This is a live-in residential position. The employee is required to reside at the facility, with food and accommodation provided.
Grooming of all dogs on premises- Ensuring all dogs are well groomed at all the times - fur, skin, eyes, ears, tail, paws, nails to be checked properly and groomed daily
Checking all the dogs for any cuts, wounds, injuries, skin allergies or infections and informing the kennel manager/ management about it immediately
- Carrying out application of any ointments etc. as advised by the kennel manager/ management
Ensuring grooming of all dogs is done carefully and every dog is handled well. Mishandling or mistreatment of any dog will not be tolerated at any cost- Regular baths, brush, blow dry and/ or trimming of all dogs to be done
Ensuring grooming station and grooming/ bath area is clean at all the times
- Managing grooming supplies and inventory
Grooming and styling of small dogs or long coat dogs as required by clients- Stay updated on grooming techniques and trends
2+ years of professional grooming experience with dog spa or grooming center- Certification from a reputed Certifying Authority (eg. Chris Christensen) is a must
Knowledge of dog breeds and grooming requirements
- Gentle handling skills with dogs of all sizes and temperaments
Excellent grooming techniques and effective communication skills
