Role Description

This is an on-site role for a PhD Scholar at BIT Mesra, Patna campus. The candidate with interests in low-level computer vision problems are encouraged to apply. The doctoral candidate will be responsible for assisting with research projects, collecting and analyzing data, implementation/ coding and preparing research reports. Additionally, the candidate will collaborate with faculty members and contribute to ongoing research activities.

Qualifications

• Hands on experience in machine learning and deep learning libraries and frameworks ( preferably pytorch)
• Candidates with knowledge of mathmatical tools (optimization techniques, image degradation model, Bayesian statistics, designing an optimization problem; to name a few) will be given priority
• Research skills, data analysis, and report writing abilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Office suite and typesetting tools like Latex
• Image analysis tools like ImageJ
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in a related field (e.g., Engineering, Science, biomedical domains)
• Knowledge of research methodologies and techniques
