Automotive electrical testing, diagnosis, and Facility procurement & Management
Skill Role & Responsibilities: -
Experience in Engineering and lab Management (automotive preferable)
Project Management
Should be able to handle technical meetings independently with domestic and international facility suppliers
Should be able to drive the project independently/with minimum support and keep a track of project progress, prepare regular summary reports for management approvals (Excel, Power point etc.)
Should be able to resolve conflicts/find technical solutions during project implementation.
Understand the seriousness of issues/delays and escalate at appropriate times
Good written and verbal communication skills is a must.
Work cross functionally with other depts like Civil, Utility etc. for project execution.
Strong documentation, information handling & follow up mechanism skills are preferred
Experience in testing of EV component (Battery, E-Motor, inverter) and performance evaluation.
Facility management skills
Coordination with suppliers for AMC
Good knowledge of budgeting
Identify critical spare parts
Inventory management
Strong follow-up skills and open point tracking
Data management
EMI /EMC testing knowhow
Hands-on experience in EMI/EMC testing of vehicles/electronics in EMC test chamber
Should be well verse and experienced with RF equipment operations and handling like signal generator, Amplifiers, Antennas, optical field probes etc.
Should be familiar with industry popular test automation software
Familiarization with test standards and regulations
Should have knowledge of ECE R10-05, AIS004 (part 3), AIS-038, AIS-041 etc.
Should be able to interpret correct meaning from Standards/Regulations and identify requirements for implementation
Should have knowledge on the latest proceedings/modifications happening in the automotive standards
Preference for knowhow on EMI/EMC testing requirements of Electric vehicle (hands-on testing experience is added advantage)
Automotive electrical System understanding
Should know/understand electrical architecture of vehicles
Should have fair knowledge of communication protocols like CAN, Ethernet, LIN etc.
Should be familiar with use of CANOE/diagnosis tools
Familiar with working of motors, ECUs, Engine and powertrain electronics.
Understanding of basic vehicle physics and dynamics.
Knowledge of Electric vehicle architecture is added advantage
EV Charging Protocols CHAdeMO, CCS, etc.
Knowledge of charging system and related suppliers
Other requirements
Driving experience (2W,4W) is must
Should be comfortable in English and Hindi (Japanese is added advantage)
Strong interpersonal skills and self-motivated
Flexible to travel local/abroad for short/long duration

Minimum 70 % marks in 10th,12th and under graduation
