JOB PURPOSE: This role involves managing payroll operations, compliance with relevant laws and regulations for India, ME & SSA.
KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The incumbent will be part of payroll team and responsible for monthly payroll processing using SAP and Workday HRMS for India, ME and SSA.
The role shall also involve managing multiple internal and external audits at BU and org level along with a high degree of interaction with finance, GSS AP and HRBP teams for day-to-day execution of tasks related to payroll, next joinees and exit.
The role shall also involve calculation of Variable pay, supporting C&B with salary structure design and preparing letters for specific grades along with managing payroll benefits such as car lease, NPS, Flexi basket etc.
The role requires experience of workday implementation along with excellent knowledge of payroll and statutory compliances such as PF, gratuity, labor law and tax compliance and tax planning instruments such as NPS, car lease etc. along with upcoming compliances such as labor codes.
The incumbent must be proficient in setting processes to bring in standardization and increase payroll efficiency by automating the tasks. Good knowledge of tax, PF and financial wellbeing interventions along with ability to manage multiple stakeholders internally and external vendors with an eye for detail is a must.
Educational Qualifications & Certifications : Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Business Administration/Maths/Statistics
Experience : 8-10 years in large organizations having HC of 4-5K.
