• Job Overview:

The Dispatch and Logistics In-charge is responsible for overseeing the dispatching of goods and managing logistics operations to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of products. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Key Responsibilities:

Dispatch Management: Coordinate and schedule the dispatch of goods to customers and vendors. Ensure that all shipments are dispatched on time and in accordance with customer requirements.

• Logistics Coordination: Plan and manage logistics operations, including transportation, fleet management, and route optimization. Work with carriers and third-party logistics providers to ensure efficient delivery.

Inventory Control: Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure accurate inventory levels and timely order fulfillment. Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers to replenish inventory as needed.

Communication: Maintain clear communication with drivers, warehouse staff, and other departments to ensure smooth operations. Provide updates and resolve any issues related to deliveries or logistics.Cost Management: Monitor transportation and logistics costs, and implement strategies to reduce expenses while maintaining service quality. Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers and service providers.

• Safety and Compliance: Ensure all logistics activities comply with legal regulations and company policies. Implement safety procedures and conduct regular inspections to ensure the safety of goods and personnel.

Technology Utilization: Use logistics and dispatch software to track shipments, manage schedules, and optimize routes. Analyze data to improve efficiency and performance.

Reporting: Prepare and present reports on logistics performance, including delivery times, costs, and efficiency metrics. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.

• Qualifications and Requirements:

Experience: Proven experience in logistics, dispatch, or transportation management. Experience in a Electrical/Electronics/Automation manufacturing warehouse- Dispatch/Logistics is highly desirable.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in logistics and dispatch software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
