Job purpose
At StoneX, we're seeking a Disaster Recovery Analyst to fortify our IT infrastructure against unforeseen disasters. This role is crucial to our Business Resiliency framework, focusing primarily on disaster recovery (application failover). You'll work closely with the Business Resiliency Manager to safeguard our operations, ensuring StoneX remains robust and responsive in the face of challenges.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Strategy Development: Craft and execute disaster recovery strategies that align with industry best practices, with a keen focus on ransomware recovery and data backup restoration.
Resiliency Planning: Oversee our business resiliency platform, keeping strategic documentation and business disruption strategies up-to-date.
Event Response Leadership: Lead the response to significant events, ensuring the continuous testing and maintenance of our disaster recovery plans.
Training and Awareness: Develop training programs to enhance organizational awareness and preparedness for disaster scenarios.
Collaboration: Work across teams to promote business resiliency, supporting business units in critical process identification, ITDR Analysis, and plan maintenance.
Continuous Improvement: Regularly reassess and refine recovery plans to mirror business evolution and emerging threats.
Reporting and Compliance: Deliver periodic reports on program status, conduct post-disruption analyses, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors crucial to our business resiliency efforts.
Qualifications:

Required:
Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing comprehensive ransomware recovery strategies.
3-5 years in disaster recovery planning/operations, preferably within a mid-sized organizational context.
Solid project management skills and experience.
Excellent communication abilities, capable of engaging with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
A deep understanding of IT infrastructure elements (networking, data/database, storage, desktop, applications, telephony, security) and their interdependencies.
Ability to manage stress effectively and maintain organization in high-pressure situations.
Preferred:
Professional certification in Disaster Recovery Planning (e.g., CBCP, CCCE, DRCP, MBCP).
Prior experience in disaster recovery planning and testing, ideally within the financial services industry.
Familiarity with Fusion Risk Management software.
