Position Overview
The Director of Talent Acquisition will lead the strategy, planning, and execution of the organization's recruitment processes. This role oversees the talent acquisition team, drives employer branding initiatives, ensures a positive candidate experience, and collaborates with leadership to meet the company's staffing needs. The Director will be critical in shaping the organization's talent strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals, and maintaining a diverse and highly skilled workforce.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with the company's goals and culture.
Partner with executive leadership to forecast hiring needs based on business growth and market trends.
Design and execute employer branding initiatives to attract top talent.
Lead, mentor, and manage the talent acquisition team, ensuring high performance and professional growth.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
Set performance goals for the team and monitor key recruitment metrics.
Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle, from job posting to onboarding, ensuring a seamless and efficient process.
Develop and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies, vendors, and job boards.
Implement innovative sourcing strategies to identify and attract top talent.
Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
Champion DEI initiatives in the hiring process to ensure a diverse pool of candidates.
Collaborate with Craft leadership to promote inclusive hiring practices.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Prepare and present regular reports on recruitment metrics, challenges, and achievements to senior management.
Continuously monitor and improve recruitment policies and procedures.
Develop and manage the talent acquisition budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
Evaluate the cost-effectiveness of various recruiting tools and strategies.
Work closely with department heads and hiring managers to understand specific talent needs.
Provide guidance and support to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
Collaborate with HR and Learning & Development to support workforce planning and employee retention strategies.
Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in HR or related field. Master's degree preferred.
15 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven experience in developing and executing talent acquisition strategies in a fast-paced environment.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership.
Deep understanding of recruitment trends, best practices, and employment law.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
