We continue to invest heavily in Analytics, Big Data, and Artificial Intelligence. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and self-motivated individual with strong passion and must have strong technological leadership and experience building teams. The candidate should have the technical expertise to lead software and architecture discussions and guide cross-functional product and engineering teams through functional definition, solution, and integration. This position is highly visible in the organization and involves frequent interaction with the senior executives as well as all other levels, locally and globally.
What will this person do
- Build, mentor, and manage a team of software architects and engineers.
- Help define project scope and own deliveries.
- Be a technical subject matter expert and represent the full internal and external capabilities of the products.
- Engage in hands-on design and ensure alignment of strategy, architecture, tools/methods to execute product roadmaps.
- Identify any product/functionality gaps, collaborate internal technology teams to define the necessary development for solutions.
- Drive integration efforts and lead critical work streams of strategic initiatives sponsored by senior executives.
- Drive engineering excellency through CI/CD.
- Pro-active response in identifying and troubleshooting integration or technical issues.
- Reduce the feedback loop through proactive planning and collaboration with Product Management, Service Delivery, and IT.
- Execute strategy in partnership with company leadership and a broad set of stakeholders across various functions.
- Ensure compliance with industry and legal regulations and best practices and adherence to company processes and procedures.
- Create a collaborative culture with unconditional responsibility, ownership, and accountability.
- Provide vision, leadership, direction and coaching to ensure continuous and successful employee development.
- Cultivate an environment of continuous engineering improvement through mentoring, feedback, and metrics.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering, or related field required; Advanced Degree preferred.
- 18+ years of professional experience in software engineering
- 8+ years of experience in engineering management preferably managing multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.
- 5+ years leading teams building applications in cloud native technology.
- Experience with C#, or Java
- Exposure to Kubernetes and containerization.
- Exposure to cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Extensive hands-on experience building and managing the development of complex, large scale applications and products.
- Strong experience implementing and managing SCRUM in an environment undergoing rapid change.
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience interacting with other departments, managers, and executives.
- Demonstrated experience implementing CI/CD, system testing, test automation.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Duties are performed in a typical office environment while at a desk or computer table.
- Duties require the ability to use a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material, in a quiet and professional setting.
- Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends).
