About the client: PSS has been mandated to hire a
Director - Revenue for a leading Consumer Tech startup.
Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to manage and own the overall P&L of the business unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the responsibility of GMV of the business + seller growth
- Optimise and plan P&L for the category
- Own business operational strategy including both financial & operational inputs/outputs, forecasting, monitoring, & reporting
- Drive Product-category-fit for the organization
- Build a selection strategy and plan to solve existing gaps in customer and seller strategies
- Develop a thorough understanding of the product and category, customer behavior, and existing gaps in the market
- Build and mentor a high-potential team that will independently drive business agendas
- Provide the highest level of customer satisfaction and monitor the key metrics across both the buyers and sellers
- Track category metrics weekly and monthly to monitor goals and to drive continuous improvement
Educational Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelors in tech or masters in management with 7-12 years of experience in managing revenue/category.
- 2-3 years of experience working in strategy consulting is a must
- Experience working in tech startups (e-commerce, b2b commerce, etc) is mandatory
- Strong problem discovery to break down 10x opportunities
