Roles and Responsibilities :
- Direct the tactical and operational activities of the Quality team.
- Develop, evaluate, implement, and maintain technical quality assurance and control plans standards pertaining to materials, techniques, processes and products.
- Ensure total product integrity by providing strategic leadership in establishing a common quality vision, culture, structure, management system, and process.
- Oversee complex technical projects that drive change to product design and/or manufacturing processes.
- Plan, manage, and oversee the design and implementation of quality measurement programs tailored to identify daily reporting issues and associated controls.
- Facilitate continuous improvement and lead the planning and execution of audit (e.g., ISO) programs to monitor performance and ensure overall compliance.
- Strong at 8D Root cause analysis ; Lean management ; ISO certified audits ; Redressal of field complaints and customer complaints
- Partner with supply chain and manufacturing to develop and implement a supplier qualification and performance management process to ensure consistent quality levels
- Supervise a team of members and guide them in the journey to achieve operational and corporate targets
- Provides ongoing training and education to the team to ensure its ability to execute on the Company and team goals and objectives.
- Builds a strong development team by ensuring effective coaching and counseling employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
Education and Experience Required :
- Bachelor's and Master's degree in Engineering or Science
- Quality or continuous improvement certifications (e.g., Six Sigma) would be a plus
- Someone who has dealt with dual role in QA and EHS simultaneously is most preferred.
- 18-20+ years of experience in the EMS or manufacturing sector (Automotive or Aerospace) in Manufacturing Quality/Process Quality/Supplier Quality and Process Excellence roles
- Previous experience in the renewable energy sector is a plus.
