About the Role :
In this opportunity as
Director , Program Management you will:
- Defines, documents and delivers large-scale programs of work requiring the management of significant uncertainty.
- Actively leads in all phases of the projects. Identifies, assesses and manages risks to the success of the program and ensure stakeholders have information to make effective decisions.
- Defines, communicates, and champions a method of working to manage the strategy and ensures sufficient visibility at all levels in the organization.
- Defines and champions program governance to ensure there is sufficient executive support and guidance. Builds effective relationships to ensure the success of the projects.
- Has effective control, leadership and responsibility for the delivery of the program - including scope, schedule, budget, quality, and business value. Develops and leads the process for dealing with rapid major change. Ensures the communication channels and processes are in place to notify key stakeholders so that plans can be amended and the necessary action taken.
- Provides thought leadership on all aspects of the program in order to ensure successful delivery. Establishes the appropriate tools and processes to meet project goals. Influences program sponsor to make the appropriate decisions and modifications in response to external influences on the program.
- Effectively communicates highly complex ideas at multiple organizational levels and modifies personal approach and style to reflect changing circumstance. Ensures appropriate sponsorship. Develops and maintains broad knowledge of related functional areas across the business.
- Maintains a solid understanding if the industry and incorporates best practices as they emerge.
About You
You're a fit for the role of Director, Program Management if you have:
Basic qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- PMP or AMP certification preferred or thorough knowledge and demonstrated execution of project management methodology including documentation.
- 15+ years managing Project / Program Management experience with technology projects.
- Demonstrated achievements in planning, leading, and implementing complex projects on time, within budget, and with desired functionality.
- Strong leadership skills, with a demonstrable background of resource management, motivating and coaching.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional team(s) without formal authority.
- Ability to work in an environment of change and uncertainty with sound judgment under pressure.
- Ability to manage a high volume of work and diverse range of projects and activities.
- Exceptional communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence actions/decisions of others.
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
