Position: Director, Process Excellence

Reporting To: Vice President, Process Excellence & Quality

Location: Mumbai

Profile Description

A Lean Six Sigma Black Belt professional responsible for driving business impact through process improvement, problem-solving, and change management. The role requires aligning qualitative and quantitative initiatives with organizational strategy while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The incumbent will deliver business value through advisory services, mentoring, and leveraging technology for process excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Process:

  • Identify significant areas for customer business impact and provide strategic direction.
  • Conduct diagnostic studies and implement process excellence frameworks.
  • Enhance process capability using lean methodologies and improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop and track metrics, dashboards, and systems to sustain process gains.
  • Lead key projects and mentor operations team members trained in Lean Six Sigma.
  • Conduct value stream mapping and create a roadmap from AS IS to TO BE.
  • Redesign and optimize business processes for transformation.

People:

  • Train, coach, and develop team members, ensuring performance evaluations are timely.
  • Plan future strategies and monitor performance to strengthen results.
  • Track and report scorecard outcomes.

Client:

  • Anticipate customer needs and provide solutions to enhance satisfaction.
  • Leverage technology to improve customer experience and track customer satisfaction indices.

Financial:

  • Monitor and measure financial impacts, including ROI and cost-benefit analysis.
  • Track KPIs such as cost savings, lead time reduction, and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

  • Mandatory:
  • Bachelor's degree in any stream.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • 10+ years of experience in process transformation, with 5+ years handling large/medium projects in complex environments and 2+ years in a managerial role.
  • Preferred:
  • Master's degree or MBA.
  • Experience in robotic process automation, digitization, and automation projects.
  • Minimum of 24 months in a client-facing role at IKS at the managerial level or above.
