The Role

The Instant Group is seeking a Director, Managed Sales in India to lead the Business Development efforts and Solutioning up to Closing of our Managed Office offerings pan India. Key success factors include growing Instant's client base, ensuring Instant's prospective clients receive world class service, and growing a qualified Sales pipeline of Managed Office opportunities for Instant with end-user Occupiers.

As we partner with new clients and develop deeper relationships with existing clients, we will support them in advancing their business. Our Client Solutions team are at the heart of this and their alignment with Instant's behaviours are imperative. Reporting to the Regional Director, APAC based in Singapore, the Director Managed Sales India will have a clear vision, set the standards, the ambition and operationalize to scale the Sales funnel across India through technical ability, pipeline management and understanding the end-to-end customer journey to secure a Managed Office opportunity for Instant.

Further responsibilities will include developing key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans. Successful execution of these strategies will be required to achieve financial targets. He/she will understand our client's business intimately, the market they operate in, create solutions that advance their business, ensure world class delivery liaising with our Operations, Finance and Legal teams, articulate Instant's value and grow advocacy.

As a member of the APAC Client Solutions Team, the Director Managed Sales will be expected to deliver a world class service to our client base whilst growing the sales pipelines with clients pan India. an expectation to collaborate with various stakeholders, globally within Instant to ensure successful running of the India market.

What will you be doing

  • Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets
  • Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand Instant's customer base
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
  • Assemble best-in-class supply chain partnership to deliver the end-to-end Instant Managed office solutions
  • Understand category-specific landscapes and trends
  • Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts
  • Collaborate with our Marketing teams to assemble sales marketing collateral and targeted outreach campaigns/Corporate events
  • Work closely with our in-house Property, Procurement, Finance, Legal, Project and FM teams to assemble client proposals and develop RFP submission
  • Ensure operational excellence in the day-to-day management of the business including forecasting, pipeline
  • Develop and implement best practices to maximize pipeline creation, conversion rates, forecasting accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Expand Instant's referrals network with third-party supply chain partners (e.g. agents, designers, contractors, FM vendors, etc).

Who are we looking for

  • Extensive experience within the Commercial Real Estate industry with strong network and knowledge of the flex workspace market and solid industry relationships.
  • Experience of creating and deepening trusted relationships with Board, C suite level clients and RE and HR Executives.
  • Extensive experience of Sales Operations and Account Management (strategic and operational) with a proven track record in developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions as well as scaling a world class team and improving.
  • Has managed large and strategically important client wins and accounts including global, multi-national businesses.
  • Experience of developing accounts across a variety of businesses/ industries, a variety of client strategies and challenges across a variety of economic landscapes.
  • Extensive consultative and solutions selling experience and selling and delivering large scale client engagements and solutions.
  • Experience of leading Sales process for Enterprise Solutions/Managed Office and dealing with multiple stakeholders.
  • BSc/ Masters or equivalent preferred.
  • Real estate licence beneficial.
