About The Role
Hashicorp is evolving our approach to managing our core business systems, with a focus on data-driven decision-making, employee experience, and delivering value through the applications we use every day. We are forming a new role to address the ongoing growth and program management maturity required to help IT and HashiCorp scale as we embark on a Corporate Digital Transformation (CDT) journey. The Director, IT Business Systems Lead is expected to support our India-based Data & Technology teams as we mature our operational processes and streamline the way our systems work together to deliver value to the business.
- We are hiring a strong, experienced people leader to oversee the systems engineering, data integrations, and system administration resources based in India who support new development, enhancements, bugs, and administrative responsibilities for core business systems such as Salesforce, Gainsight, Coupa, Concur, NetSuite, Workday and more. This new role reports to the Senior Director, Corporate Digital Transformation (CDT).
What You Will Do
- Leadership: As a key member of the CDT leadership team, you'll drive strategic planning, and portfolio management, and ensure the continuous learning and development of the team to accelerate product roadmap development and delivery of best practices.
- Agile Delivery: Partner closely with IT Product leaders, Digital Workplace Operations and TPMs to design and develop technical solutions with future-proof solution designs; proactively identify opportunities for system streamlining, process refinements, and automation to boost operational efficiency and elevate user satisfaction through the use of Agile methodologies and product management principles.
- Partnership: Partner within CDT, across Data & Technology, with our vendors, and within the business to ensure the team is well positioned to deliver technology strategy recommendations to our stakeholders, move the needle on streamlining our tech stack and driving value from it.
- Technical Program Management: Act as an in-region TPM to ensure your team is partnering closely with the Go-to-market TPM, G&A TPM, Strategy & Architecture, and project management teams across the Enterprise to triage intake, prioritization, and cross-functional roadmap planning in order to deliver initiatives on time and within budget, ensuring the successful deployment of these types of solutions.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs and performance metrics to measure the success, velocity, and efficiency of your team, regularly reviewing and optimizing resource management, process effectiveness and performance challenges.

Education
Degree in Management/ IT from Tier-1 college. Overall,
10+ years of experience in business systems with proven experience in SaaS application management and oversight, including program management.
Skillset And Experience
- Proven experience 6 years in a leadership role within an IT function, in a SaaS company, preferably in a fast-paced industry.
- Knowledgeable in a variety of 3rd party digital workplace tools, including Workday, Greenhouse, Netsuite, ADP, Concur, and Coupa.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a high-performing cross-functional team of Business Analysts, Data/Application Integration Specialists, Systems Engineers, and Enterprise Application Administrators.
- Many years of IT experience in a fast-moving, agile environment in a high-growth company, ideally including several years supporting a portfolio of 3rd party SaaS platforms.
- An ability to handle change, ambiguity, decision-making, and deadlines in a structured fashion.
- An ability to work with autonomy in a fast-paced environment, a strong sense of accountability, and a proven track record of driving results through both direct & indirect influence.
- Operate with purpose, collaboration, continuous improvement, efficiency, and trust at the center of everything we do as part of CDT.
- Passionate about driving business transformation through technology.
