Responsibilities
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Identify performance gaps within the supply base and develop improvement plans for the identified gaps
- Establish global priorities based on benefits and opportunities and ensures conformance and compliance with all major certifying agencies both internal and external to the enterprise.
- Own the supplier relationship management for their specific categories at an executive leadership level.
- Create long-term vision and direction and translate it into a series of near-term and long-range strategies and functional plans to achieve the greatest OPACC Contribution gains
- Work across director team to develop and implement Global localization strategies for SD&Ds supply base
- Supervise a team of management and/or salaried employees, where planning, scheduling, monitoring and reviewing work of subordinates is required, and ensure development and training of team
- Consolidate large volume of diverse input, perform analysis to draw actionable insights, condense into a succinct executive level presentation for Vice President or higher level of leadership consumption
- Perform analysis and generate any reports required by Vice President or higher levels of leadership
- Monitor initiative progress and re-direct project leads as necessary to ensure successful attainment of goals
- Present progress regularly in a variety of meetings to a variety of audiences and in a variety of formats
- Establish and foster collaborative relationships with process partners inside and outside the division
- Collaborate with Change-Management and Communications Strategists to communicate and champion process changes and strategic vision
Basic Qualifications
- College / university degree
- Multi-business unit experience
- 3+ years of experience as leader of leaders
- 13 to 15 years of progressively responsible job / industry related experience

- Leader with continuous improvement mindset identifying defects, improving processes and tools, to optimize efficiency and output
- Ability to adapt to multiple cultures and countries; fluent in English
- 5+ years in project management
- PMP certification
Required Skills
- Category Management: Knowledge of category management within an organization's goods and services sector; ability to use this knowledge to analyze and improve the end-to-end procurement process and maximize business profitability.
- Supplier Management - MFG: Knowledge of processes and methods to effectively manage business relationships and transactions with suppliers of raw materials or product components; ability to apply related knowledge, experience and skills into real practice.
- Strategic Sourcing: Knowledge of strategic sourcing methods, technologies and processes; ability to analyze, improve and re-evaluate organizational procurement process continuously.
- Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
- Planning: Tactical, Strategic: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.
