Director for Valuations

Position Overview: The Director for Valuations will lead and manage the valuation practice in North India, based in Gurgaon. This role involves client management, technical expertise in valuation methodologies, and resource management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business valuations and a proven track record in developing long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Management:

Build and maintain long-term client relationships through exceptional service.

Identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities to enhance business growth.

Lead valuation engagements, ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Engagement Delivery - Technical Expertise:

Develop and review various valuation models (DCF, comparable company, stock option, etc.).

Execute business valuations and financial reporting valuations (PPAs, goodwill impairment).

Manage regulatory valuations and support dispute resolutions when applicable.

Resource Management:

Lead and mentor a team, fostering skill development and career growth.

Oversee project management and ensure timely completion of engagements.

Conduct performance appraisals and set professional development goals.

Desired Skills:

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to present findings to senior management and board members.

Qualifications:

CA or MBA with CFA preferred.

12-15 years of experience in Valuation Services within professional services firms, particularly for Indian clients.
