Financial Outcomes:
Customer Service:
Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
Lead efforts to handle and resolve customer complaints and product quality issues in a timely manner
Guide CRM team to ensure customer feedback is incorporated into product quality improvements
Monitor product performance in the market and adjust quality strategies accordingly
Plastic waste Management:
Ensure that we collate the numbers across the business on cat 1, cat 2, cat 3 Platics
Ensure identification of the right vendors for plastic waste management
Ensure that the contract is awarded and Implemented
Ensure audit is done against the Plastic Credit
Ensure Annual returns are filed
Market Returns:
Ensure audit and collection of all market returns and appropriate disposal of the same
Internal Processes:
Quality Management System (QMS)
Develop the Quality management system philosophy for the organization, oversee the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the QMS.
Ensure compliance with local, national, and international food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, FSSC 22000, FDA and all other International certifications including Halal)
Develop and update quality assurance policies and procedures to meet regulatory and customer requirements
Identify the right metrics for tracking to bring in continuous improvement in the system
Tracking the MIS of the function
Auditing
Lead and coordinate internal audits to assess compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Ensure third-party audits and certifications adhere to food safety and quality standards.
Analyze audit findings and oversee corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address non-conformances.
New Product Development (NPD) Quality
Collaborate with R&D, production, and marketing teams to ensure that quality is integrated into every phase of new product development
Establish and enforce quality control protocols during the NPD process
Conduct risk assessments and define quality metrics for new products to meet customer and regulatory expectations
Innovation and Learning
Continuous improvement: Responsible for driving and deployment of all Kaizen, 5S and other quality tools
Bring in outside in view of best practices in Quality management and continuously train team members on the same
Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing product defects and increasing efficiency in quality processes
Utilize data analytics and quality tools to drive process improvement and minimize variation
Set up processes for continuous train and mentoring of cross-functional teams on best practices for quality management
