Director, Brand Performance Support - South Asia
The Director, Brand Performance Support (BPS) - South Asia will serve as the main support contact for owners, management company representatives, and hotel leaders of assigned hotels, not exclusive to but with primary focus to launch, maintain and support Hilton branded franchise locations; with the goal of optimizing portfolio performance from deal signing through the life of the asset. This role will require the incumbent to focus on ensuring hotels are educated on and can fully leverage enterprise and brand resources while collecting and sharing best practices across the portfolio of hotels to support commercial success and operational excellence. Furthermore, the Director role is responsible for monitoring performance and collaborating across the enterprise to develop and implement support strategies for individual hotels and trending or portfolio level opportunities.
What will I be doing
The Director, BPS - South Asia will partner with the APAC Brand Performance Support team and APAC / South Asia Leadership team to implement support plans and strategic initiatives to realize our short, medium, and long-term performance objectives. You will lead the day-to-day delivery of support using multiple approaches (virtual, phone, in-person) applied situationally to individual hotels, small groups, and at times, large groups of owners and hotel leaders. You will support your portfolio of owners and hotels by developing and sharing best practice insights and resources, delivering performance and strategic consultative programming, and ensuring successful implementation of enterprise and/or brand initiatives on property. The successful candidate will be comfortable navigating difficult discussions and be able to appropriately use influence to gain consensus and agreement with various stakeholders.
Additional scope of this role includes but is not limited to, responsibility for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Be the key Brand Representative in the region and advisor to the Country Senior Leadership team, identifying and interpreting the pulse of the region
Align with the Country Senior Leadership to assist navigation of agnostic and non-agnostic support functions and responsibilities
Be an active and significant facilitator of growth, presence and performance of Hilton Brands in region
Provide expertise and guidance to owners and management teams of franchise hotels beginning at deal signing including planning and facilitating ownership portfolio performance reviews and developing strategic plans to improve performance
Support owners, management company representatives, and hotel leaders through opening process in collaboration with various enterprise teams to ensure a smooth opening and successful ramp up
Educate owners, management company representatives and hotel leaders on how to navigate the Hilton enterprise, best practices for leveraging Hilton services, regularly sets expectations for performance and the partnership to ensure hotels deliver against Brand Standards
Lead, develop, and facilitate field facing live and virtual events that support specific BPS team strategic action plans
Accelerate commercial and operational performance by identifying/creating job aids, resources, and content in local context for various stakeholders to implement brand and enterprise-wide initiatives effectively and successfully
Participate in the maintenance and updating of online resources, such as Boost, Connect with Hilton, and Salesforce, which enable hotel team members to self-solve
Support successful implementation of brand and enterprise-wide initiatives

High level of proficiency working with Microsoft Suite of tools, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel. Proficient skills with PowerPoint and Excel including presentation creation and delivery
To fulfil this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:
BA/BS/Bachelor's Degree
10 years of hospitality experience
5 years of related experience as hotel Executive Committee, General Manager, AGM, Director of Sales, Revenue Management or similar organizational role
3 years of experience working with hotel sales teams
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required; up to 70%
