nWe have two flagship programs that help us in this journey:
- Udhyam Shiksha works on developing entrepreneurial mindsets amongst youth and enabling them to achieve their potential, having impacted 27.5 Lakh learners across 12 Indian states, to date.
- Udhyam Vyapaar focuses on nano businesses in India, and solving large problems faced by them, at scale; having already enabled 50 crores income uplift for 6600+ NanoEntrepreneurs to date. To know more about us, please check out our website.

nMarketing @ Udhyam:
nAs a seven year young organization, our focus thus far has been on creating deeply impactful programs and scaling them. In parallel, over the last couple of years we have built some foundational pillars of marketing but need the brand and impact of our work to travel a lot further - Our best supporters call us The Most Impactful Secret.
nWith the work and its impact under our belt, there is significant opportunity to influence a far larger ecosystem, policies and national decision making. Marketing and advocacy will play a critical role in this effort, by amplifying these ideas and programs to percolate far deeper and wider. Thus far, a lot of our brand awareness and inbounds has happened organically. We are now at a stage where we need to be more deliberate in our marketing efforts given our ambitious mission and goals.
nThe marketing and communications team is a small and high impact team. We are zealous about customer centricity and our passion to make a difference is matched with our empathy. In everything we do, we endeavour to pursue excellence. On the days we are in office (we are a hybrid working organisation with a minimum of two days in office currently) it's a rocking party with everyone else joining the laughter and the fun. There is always food (for thought too), loud discussions and roaring conversations. We are on a happy journey to Make Bharat Entrepreneurial through our education and livelihood programs.
n The Role :
nOwns the marketing mandate and breaks down org vision & goals into actionable marketing strategy, goals- Drives marketing strategy and the team's actioning towards achieving these goals
- Is able to leverage PR and drive advocacy towards furthering Udhyam's mission
- Works closely with the leadership and the BU teams to create and implement the marketing strategy basis their respective goals
- Imagine, Conceptualise & Create events, campaigns that help drive deep impact for Udhyam's goals and long term mission
- Build and manage a team and work with external partners for high quality impactful execution
n Required Skills & Experience :
- Keen on working in a purpose driven non-profit looking to create national scale impact
- 15 + years of marketing experience
- Knack for powerful & impactful storytelling with simplicity
- Proven impact of large scale change through storytelling & advocacy
- Help other leaders understand the power of marketing & help the org communicate better
- Willingness to be hands on and be connected with on work on ground
- Innovative, frugal to make things happen with low budgets
- Experience driving marketing strategy, goal setting and execution
- Experience driving brand advocacy
- Customer centric approach to problem solving
- Ability to work with multiple teams and manage specific asks and requirements
- An independent thinker and problem solver, able to navigate uncertainty
