Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Engineering - Delivery to lead our engineering teams in delivering high-quality products and solutions. Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy:
- Provide visionary leadership to engineering teams, cultivating a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
- Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for engineering delivery aligned with company objectives and market demands.
Project Management:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and scope.
- Implement project management methodologies and best practices to optimize team performance and productivity.
Team Development:
- Mentor and coach engineering managers and teams to enhance skills, promote professional growth, and drive high-performance culture.
- Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging teams to explore new technologies and methodologies.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Design, and Quality Assurance, to ensure seamless delivery of products.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project status, challenges, and opportunities.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, testing, and delivery to maintain high standards of quality.
- Establish metrics and KPIs to monitor delivery performance and drive continuous improvement.
Budget & Resource Management:
- Manage departmental budgets and resources efficiently, ensuring optimal allocation to projects and initiatives.
- Identify and recruit top engineering talent to build a high-performing team.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in engineering management, with a focus on delivery and project management.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects in a fast-paced environment.
Skills:
- Strong experience with mobile application development using React Native.
