Job Description

Are you looking for a digital marketing role with lots of variety We have a brand-new role as a Digital Marketing Executive in Compton Group, a diverse group of companies based in the UK to work across various areas of the multiple businesses including interior design and travel.

As a key member of a supportive and innovative marketing team, you will shape our social media, make our marketing marvelous and work wonders with our websites. We are looking for someone who is passionate about digital marketing and loves being creative and analytical.
  • Key Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Social Media Management:
Contribute towards the content strategies
  • Working with the copywriter and graphic designer to create and schedule vibrant content.
Monitor responses and messages and engage with our online community.
  • Analyze metrics to boost performance.
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
Conduct keyword research to boost search rankings.
  • Optimize content, meta tags, and descriptions for keywords.
Monitor performance with Google Analytics and Search Console.
  • Implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies for visibility.
  • Website Updates/Maintenance:
Update content and visuals regularly.
  • Create new pages when required
  • Email Marketing
Build email newsletters with the content provided.
  • Segment audiences for targeted messaging.
Analyze and optimize campaign performance.
  • Keep the subscriber database updated/refreshed.
  • Analytics and Reporting:
Track KPIs across digital channels.
  • Prepare and present performance reports.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
Communicate with external agencies and partners.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technologies.
  • Desirable Skills:
Fluency in UK English.
  • Able to work individually and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Proven experience in carrying out social media marketing strategies.
Website management and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of SEO practices, including optimization and keyword research.
Able to build email newsletters and report on the results.
  • Strong analytical skills and a love of data.
Excellent communication skills.
  • Professional development keeping up-to-date with trends, best practices, and new technologies.
  • Experience:
Experience using WordPress, WooCommerce and Shopify.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
* Knowledge of segmenting email lists based on target audiences.
  • Tracking and reporting on the ROI and effectiveness of digital marketing initiatives.
