JOB DESCRIPTION:
Primary Objective of Position
- The ideal candidate will have experience in the healthcare environment, be an excellent team player and be willing to travel for Clients and projects across APAC. The successful Integration Specialist Healthcare IT will be primary responsible for the design, specifications and implementation of integration solutions with focus on AlinIQ Software Solutions.
- This position will be responsible for the implementation & integration of AlinIQ Software Solutions including development, maintenance, troubleshooting custom applications using ASTM, HL7, FHIR, JavaScript, SOAP, XML, DICOM, REST.
- This position will cooperate with IT management and existing programmers to deliver complete projects, including gathering end user requirements, designing, prototyping, coding, testing, implementation, and maintenance.
Major Accountabilities
- Work closely with ADD regional / local sales teams and Informatics Sales colleagues to develop and profitably grow new and existing customer accounts
- Drives Pre-Sales and support the overall Sales process by assisting in the planning of activities, ensuring all relevant information are captured
- Build sustainable customer relationships and leverage them to grow ADD share for Abbott's Integrated Clinical Care Solutions.
- Support IT implementation projects and execute and support managing Project Plans and Project Management Workbooks
- Assist in the planning of Business Development, Pre-Sales, Sales activities, ensuring all relevant information is captured
- Subject matter expert support for GTM strategies & new country product implementations. Supports local teams in oversight of installation/integration for Abbott's Integrated Clinical Care Solutions.
- Data mapping/Data Flow related workflow diagrams supported by a workflow analysis.
- Knowledge of communication protocols like using HL7 is key
- Knowledge of any communication protocols like ASTM, FHIR, JavaScript, SOAP, XML, DICOM, REST is preferred.
- Knowledge and experience of integration of various solutions in the healthcare environment is preferred.
- The position requires the willingness to travel within APAC on a frequent basis (min. 60%).
- Ensures that all activities are performed in compliance with quality system requirements.
Education
- Bachelor degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science or proven Experience in Medical Informatics or equivalent
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent
Background
- Minimum 2 years Experience in the Hospital, E-Health, Outpatient Care, Diagnostics and/or Insurance Market preferred
- Minimum of 2 years track record in a) Healthcare with an emphasis IT Integration and/or b) designing IT Solution Architectures within the Healthcare environment
- Proven track record in a similar position supported by management and customer references
- Further IT-Consulting or Project Management experience preferred
- Understanding on how technology drives value in healthcare a must
- Understanding of database design and management
- Ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of enterprise systems and their interactions
- Good knowledge and experience of healthcare integration/interface data exchange standards such as HL7, ASTM, FHIR, SOAP, XML, DICOM, REST preferred
- Experience with multiple Scripting languages like Java etc.
- Experience with multiple interface development/management tools is preferred
- Course work, certification, or experience in programming and analysis is required.
- Basic understanding of database design and management
- Fluent in English and 1 other language
- Excellent IT functional expertise, IT product and industry knowledge in Healthcare and/or Laboratory Medicine preferred
- Good relationship building skills with excellent consulting skills

Impact of position
- This position will be responsible to support the sales organisation to bridge the gap between CoreDx sales, DHS Commercial and DHS Delivery at the earlier phase before commit stage aligning the proposed solution and support in drafting SOW's.
- -To drive NPS loyalty scores supporting customer satisfaction goals and build referenceability for the AlinIQ portfolio by conducting post-implementation review and continuous improvement workshops & refresher training for example
- To train internal stakeholders on the AlinIQ solutions in NHT or ongoing training (as required)
- Support commercial excellence & value expansion strategies delivering key insights on expansion i.e. modules, product VE etc
- This is critical to drive overall sales and client satisfaction with focus on AlinIQ Solutions
