We are currently seeking a Digital Engineering Staff Engineer to join our team in Bangalore, Karntaka (IN-KA), India (IN).
Development
- Analysis, design, and development and testing including full system design, estimating project hours and managing implementations.
Support
- Handles escalated problems with technical or process issues, both during normal and after hours.
- Provide problem analysis, measurement, and process methodology.
- Work with offshore development team on an as needed basis
Administrative
- Interact with Business Partners, internal and external, to design/develop solutions for business needs.
- Participate in team meetings and meetings with the business.
- Stay up to date with emerging technology trends, policies, and procedures to provide relevant architectural input and recommendations as needed.
- Other duties as needed/assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of Java/J2EE development using Spring Framework
- Experience with JavaScript Libraries (like jQuery), HTML, CSS
- Experience with the Eclipse and RAD Development Environment
- Exposure to Web Services development
- Experience with Apache HTTP Server
- Exposure to Unix/Linux
- 5+ years of experience working with databases.
- Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands as well as the ability to manage multiple assignments.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
Preferred Requirements:
- Exposure to Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, Veracode, Subversion
- IBM WebSphere (HCL Dig. Exp.) Portlet experience
- Experience working with MS SQL
- WebSphere Administration
- Exposure to IIS .Net is a plus.
